Our teams operate within your process and production environments, supporting your key objectives around safety & compliance, operational performance, and decarbonisation.
We understand the engineering challenges presented by operational and process environments. We work together to establish a baseline assessment of your operational environment, asset performance, and maintenance methodology.
Utilising our expertise in design, automation & control, reliability engineering, and smart technologies, the result is a sustainable transformation that produces custom solutions that boost plant performance.
We also provide an integrated facilities engineering service that delivers a unified approach to asset care and facilities maintenance to streamline operations. Realising the value of integrating projects with ongoing maintenance optimisation, our digital solutions also extend the life of our customers’ assets, reduce maintenance costs and make vast improvements in technician utilisation.

Our services:
Through a multi-disciplinary approach, we provide a turnkey solution for Engineering Compliance. This starts with an initial assessment, followed by the development and delivery of the solution (new ways of working, fabrication of new equipment, software solutions), and concludes with recertification.
We provide compliance support to manufacturing sites across the UK in a range of industries including food and beverage, automotive, chemical, and industrial. We help our customers to remove the risk to their employees and business by providing cost-effective solutions in a prioritised structured manner.
Our team work with customers to provide a comprehensive assessment of your operational risk, including support to complete corrective actions and recertification. We survey existing compliance arrangements to identify the gap between what they have and what they need, or work with recommendations from independent surveys and then provide costed work packages to ensure they meet their engineering compliance responsibilities.
Functional Safety
We develop and implement solutions to improve the overall safety of plant and equipment that depend on the correct functioning of safety-related systems and risk reduction measures such as safety instrumented systems (SIS), alarm systems, and basic process control
systems (BPCS).
PUWER
We work with you to analyse PUWER assessments, identify the current position and clarify actions required for compliance. Our team of multi-disciplined engineers trained in all areas of compliance – design software, mechanical, and electrical – will support you in carrying out remedial actions.
DSEAR
We develop solutions to support DSEAR compliance such as hazardous area classification, risk assessment analysis, selection of equipment, and design of engineering solutions. We work with you to plan, cost, and rectify non-compliances.
Reliability Engineering
Our team works with you to assess your maintenance strategy and methodology, and, where required, we deliver maintenance services for our customers. Our Reliability team completes a structured review of assets and associated asset maintenance regimes, including Failure Mode
and Effects Analysis (FMEA). We then develop an Asset Care methodology which includes a
planned and predictive maintenance regime to maximise Overall Equipment Effectiveness
(OEE).
We either self-deliver the new maintenance regime, or where appropriate, work with your
inhouse maintenance teams to ensure the solution is understood and implemented.
The outcome is a demonstrable reduction in: • Downtime and breakdowns • Losses of speed, start-up, and yield • Availability losses, and waste.
Condition Based Monitoring
Our team works with you to provide a holistic service ensuring the best mix of techniques are used to suit the criticality, accessibility, and failure characteristics of your assets.
Wireless condition monitoring detects faults before they become failures. • Vibration • Thermography • Balancing • Ultrasound • Lubrication.
Asset Management
We deliver maintenance regimes developed by combining the most effective reliability engineering techniques with the exclusive knowledge acquired via CBM.
A considered approach with the following outcomes; • Increase the uptime of your assets. • Manage the lifespan of your assets. • Increase the safety of the working environment. • Increase efficiency and reduce maintenance costs • Secure valuable knowledge
We identify and deliver opportunities for decarbonisation within the process environment, delivering sustainable energy cost savings.
Our engineers, data scientists and subject matter experts identify the key opportunities which will move you towards net zero.
Identify – Site Audit
- We gather, collate, and analyse data from across your organisation to
rapidly identify opportunities for decarbonisation. - We utilise valuable insights to reduce energy consumption, optimise existing systems and minimise carbon footprint.
- We map your organisation’s sustainability journey and design the path to Net Zero.
- We use data-driven insights to deliver energy flexibility that enables renewables.
Deliver – Sustainable Change
We jointly identify the key projects through a structured review of carbon reduction and return on investment.
Our UK engineering support then delivers the decarbonisation opportunities.
Manage – Cost Savings
We proactively manage your systems to ensure you are achieving the maximum efficiency possible from your set-up while delivering sustainable cost savings and giving you permanent access to the energy you need.
Measure – Carbon Accounting
We support the tracking and reduction of your Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
This includes a reduction in your Scope 1 (direct) emissions associated with natural gas consumption and a reduction in site electricity consumption.
- Scope 1 Direct emissions sources resulting from company-owned machinery, facilities, and vehicles.
- Scope 2 Indirect emissions sources associated with the generation of electricity, heat, steam, and/or cooling.
- Scope 3 Indirect emissions resulting from all other activities and sources not covered in Scope 2; include your supply chain, business travel, waste, and third-party deliveries.
WHERE WE OPERATE
We operate across England, Scotland and Wales with sixteen offices and service centres located in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, Burton on Trent, Swadlincote, Louth, Newcastle, Manchester, Warrington, Peterborough, Daresbury, Tapton, Reading, Mildenhall, Whitehaven and Birmingham.
