Parker Technical Services was appointed by the client to work on the refurbishment of a Leisure Centre in Scotland
History
Parker worked as part of the team to deliver a complete refurbishment of the existing Leisure Centre.
Solution
Parker completed the Mechanical and Electrical installation in the new reception and seating area, wet and dry change areas, various studios, offices, kitchen and a new fitness suite.
The works included new LED lighting, Small power, Lighting control, Audio Visual, Data, Fire Alarm, Intruder, Pool Alarm & disabled alarm systems. Specialist LED lighting and scene-setting was also installed.
The facility also required upgrades to the existing heating system consisting of new pumps, radiators, over-door heaters. Upgrades to the existing ventilation system were also carried out. This included the installation of new air handling units, fans and ceiling grilles.
The existing domestic water services were also modified and upgraded via a new water tank, hot water calorifier, pumps, showers and Sanitaryware.
The addition of new air conditioning VRV systems completed the works along with the replacement of the old air conditioning units
