Parker Technical Services was appointed by the client to supply the mechanical and electrical installation for the Savoy Tower offices in Glasgow.

History

The client asked Parker Technical Services to help with the M&E services for levels 10,9,8,2, ground and basement on a grade A office building ‘The Savoy Tower’, Glasgow. The office space was to be used within the city for drop-in meetings and/or office use.

Solution

The work Parker undertook consisted of new roof-mounted air handling units, supply and extract ventilation, air conditioning, domestic water, heating and BMS systems.

Works also involved the fitting of new LV Distribution, sub mains, voice & data, AV and lighting, as well as emergency lighting installation in all meeting rooms and open plan office areas, office units, the ground floor reception area and the basement shower rooms.

All other levels between the basement and level 11 received a full strip out as well as standard lighting, emergency lighting and fire alarms.
