Local authority mechanical & electrical install

The new primary school brought together two existing schools and over 300 pupils.

There was a requirement for a full spectrum of mechanical and engineering installs needed before the school could open its gates.

The project involved the installation of all 14 classrooms which included all electrical works in the open plan learning areas, assembly hall, gym hall as well as the external lighting and time out areas.

Part of the works included a state of the art media installation so that it develops the E-Learning within classrooms and teaching areas.

Works also included the supply, install, test and commission of LV distribution, small power, lighting and controls as well as external and emergency lighting. We also provided the wiring for access control systems, CCTV, intruder and fire alarm and lightning protection.

The installation of a new BMS allows the school to monitor water consumption through smart metering and monitoring.
