Hybrid facilities management for global food brand

Edwin James Group has worked with our client, a globally-known food manufacturer for over two decades, growing from ad-hoc project support to a new cross-brand hybrid facilities management model that drives greater efficiency and environmental benefits.

Musk Process Services successfully supported the run down and decommission of our client’s existing plant – handling the project with sensitivity and achieving record utilisation rates and an outstanding safety record.

In 2021, Musk Process Services was joined by Parker Technical Services to deliver a new hard engineering model for our client.

The Group now combines asset care maintenance programmes that increase operational efficiency and benefit the environment with building services, M&E and Water Treatment.

During the decommissioning project, our team helped the client achieve record production rates and 93% utilisation of hours and reduced the Work Order Backlog by two-thirds.

The facilities management project was delivered on time and on budget.

The Energy team identified potential air leaks and thermal energy savings worth over £93,000 per year and regular audits have won our client multiple British Safety Council Awards and a British Engineering Excellence Award.

The client now has four years without a lost-time accident.
