The overall purpose of this role is to support the Recruitment Manager with the future recruitment strategy to meet our Company’s current and future needs.  You will liaise with internal and external parties to assist with the end-to-end recruitment process.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

This role will include a variety of tasks, including:

  • Advertising vacancies
  • Writing job descriptions where applicable
  • Ensuring all recruitment platforms are used effectively and kept up to date
  • Screening CVs
  • Shortlisting candidates
  • Liaising with hiring managers across the group for interview co-ordination
  • Administrative support for interviews
  • Offers & issuing new starter documentation and monitoring its completion
  • Giving feedback to unsuccessful candidates where appropriate
  • Supporting candidates through the recruitment process
  • Support the recruitment manager with any additional tasks, such as reporting for board meetings
  • Promote internal development opportunities through the EJ Academy
  • Handling enquiries
  • General office duties, such as filing, document checking, photocopying, scanning paperwork

Skills and Experience

  • Administrative experience, preferably within a recruitment setting
  • Some experience of customer service
  • At least 5 GCSEs grades A-C, including English and Maths
  • Excellent computer and keyboard skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and efficient
  • Familiarity with social media and other interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good decision-making skills
  • Ability to establish relationships and communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders
