HR Administrator

Currently we have a new opportunity for a HR Administrator based at our Burton-Upon-Trent Site

The overall purpose of this role is to support the Group HR Manager and other team members. This is a generalist role and you will be required to liaise with internal and external parties to assist with the delivery of a first rate HR function.

Business Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining employee records
  • Updating databases internally
  • Preparing and amending HR documents, i.e. employment contracts and policies
  • Communicating with external organisations
  • Being the first point of contact for employees on HR related queries
  • Handle the majority of employee documentation, including contracts, recruitment paperwork and starter packs
  • Assisting with any other administrative tasks as and when they arise may be necessary
  • Support managers during meetings, i.e. investigations, disciplinaries, grievances. This may mean travel to other sites
  • Maintain a professional and effective working relationship with customers and work colleagues

  • Have a strong background in Administration
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Have an appreciation of sensitive data / information
  • Good IT skills incorporating Microsoft Office (in particular Excel)
  • HR experience is an advantage but not essential (CIPD Level 3)
