We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Team Leader to join our Company working predominately on an industrial engineering site in Duxford.  You may also be required to travel to other sites.

Key Responsibilities

You will be required to effectively plan and manage the project work for a small team, organise materials, manage hire of equipment, identify labour requirements to the Operations Manager, compile risk assessments and method statements, complete timesheets and make operational decisions to improve GP performance. There will be an element of hands on support required.

You should be organised, accurate and work well independently as well as part of a team.

Working Hours: 40 Hours per week (Monday-Friday). Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Skills and Experience

You should have a strong electrical projects engineering background with experience working within an industrial environment and on the following:

  • 415VAC-24VDC
  • 3 phase / single phase motors
  • Lighting circuits
  • Installation of containment- Ladder, Conduit & Basket
  • Cable glanding- SWA, SY,
  • ATEX glanding preferable
  • Panel wiring and controls including safety circuits

A good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook are also required.

You must possess an electrical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ).  City & Guilds 17th/18th Edition is essential

COMPEX 1-6 is advantageous
