Due to exciting growth plans, new contract wins and acquisitions we have a new permanent job opportunity for an experienced Project Planner to assist in the deliver of mechanical and plumbing works based out of any of our offices in either Inverness, Aberdeen or in Glasgow
This role will include a variety of tasks including the following:
- Plan, Structure and lead the project from initial stages through to completion
- Complete and distribute regular progress reports in line with project timetables
- Manage progress and the communication of any updates between the programme and operational staff via meetings and reporting
- Highlight both the dependencies and interfaces between trades
- Maintain a fully logically linked Primavera P6 project programme
- Ensure the schedule is resourced and update as required to reflect modifications in the execution strategy
- Lead the planning of tender programmes
- Calculate productivity ratios
We value everyone’s skills and experiences but for this role are looking for people who:
- Proven experience of planning tools such as Primavera preferably on mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects
- Operational experience of construction projects
- Working experience of project management methodology
- Proven ability in working with engineering / operational teams to capture real time progress
- Preferably have experience working in an NEC3 contract environment (although not essential)
