Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC)

• Project management, planning, engineering, and cost control
• Labour, material, and sub-contract resource management
• Production of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) and other QHSE documentation Identifying, assessing, negotiating with and managing suppliers and sub-contractors
• Selection and procurement of equipment.
• Planning, forecasting and reporting contract performance.
• Undertake general commercial activities (preparation of applications for payment, compilation of variations, etc.)
• Production of Technical Submission
• Production of RFI’s
• Production of Early Warnings
• Implementation of Compensation Events
• Liaison with the QA Team
• Liaison with the Commissioning team
• Liaison with Main Contractor and other trades
• Management of the production of RIBA 5 Working drawings and RIBA 6 Handover documentation
• Resolving and closing out of Snags and Defects

We value everyone’s skills and experiences but for this role are looking for people who:

• Have a proven track record as a mechanical lead of working within the MEP industry, demonstrating a history of delivering Mechanical packages on large projects
• Are ideally be qualified to HNC level, although qualifications by experience will be considered on an equal basis
• Ideally you will have previously worked under the NEC suite of contracts
• Have experience working within a nuclear or highly regulated environment (desirable)
• Hold both an SMSTS and CSCS Card
