Currently we have a new opportunity for an IT Service Desk Technician based at our Burton-Upon-Trent Head Office to join our busy and expanding team.

The overall purpose of this role is to support the Group IT Manager and other team members and liaise with internal and external parties to assist with the overall service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working in a 1st line support role
  • Supporting users remotely (email/phone/teams) – working in a service desk via a ticketing system
  • First point of contact for all queries from staff. Identify and carry out remote ‘first time fixes’ on a variety of network and software solutions. This are varied tasks from simple password change through to data restoration, printer, and software application rollout.
  • Process improvement – proactive involvement in the continued development of new and established procedures.
  • Service delivery – working with other service delivery teams to ensure that Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets are met.
  • Maintain a professional and effective working relationship with customers and work colleagues.

Skills & Experience

We value everyone’s skills and experiences but for this role are looking for people who can demonstrate technical skills with:

    • Laptops/Desktops/Printers
    • Windows Client OS
    • Office365
    • Microsoft packages
    • Some server experience would also be beneficial
    • 2+ years of commercial experience in an IT Support related role would be required.
