Electrical Design Engineer

• Generate Panel Layouts and bills of materials.
• LV distribution and cable calculations
• Generating electrical control schematic diagrams
• Generating instrument loop diagrams
• Generating PLC wiring diagrams and I/O schedules
• Machinery safety circuit design and risk assessments to BS EN ISO 13849/60261
• Preparation of Supporting Technical Documents

• A work history of electrical design preferably within an industrial environment
• Have knowledge / experience of machine safety and safety circuits.  It would be an advantage to understand component SIL and machine PL ratings, however, training can be provided if required.
• Preferably have knowledge of PLC control wiring systems, instrumentation and motor starter control types
• Experience of AutoCad, Amtech

• Hold Electrical qualifications BTEC and/or NVQ3
• 18th Edition
• A work history of electrical design preferably within an industrial environment
