Putting safety first

Safety is integral to our business and is one of our core values. Safe working practice is non-negotiable.  Whatever it takes, safety first.

We take a structured, risk-based approach, and our training, policies, and procedures are designed to provide our employees with the knowledge and skills they need to keep themselves and others safe.  We’re continuously improving and believe that safety is everyone’s business. In our recent Environmental, Social and Governance report, we have committed to halving the incident rate by 2025.

As a group, we understand that safety goes further than the right procedures on site. Taking care of the wider health and wellbeing of our colleagues is key – poor mental health or excessive stress can result in tiredness and a lack of concentration that can easily lead to accidents.

To support our colleagues, we have launched a range of health and wellbeing initiatives, including training for managers, training for staff, a 24/7 confidential helpline and the introduction of mental health first aiders.

We are accredited to ISO45001. ISO14001 and ISO9001 standard, and we’re Safe Contractor approved.
